One of the most important schemes of the central government, the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, can now undergo a big change, due to which the farmers are now expected to benefit twice. In fact, according to some media reports, under this scheme, the amount of Rs 6000 to the farmers in a year, may soon double i.e. Rs 12000. At present, this entire amount is available in the bank account of the farmers in three installments of Rs.2000 each. If this change takes place in the scheme, then the farmers will again get Rs 12000 thousand in three installments of Rs 4000-4000. One installment comes every 4 months.

You can also apply for this scheme sitting at home online or through Panchayat Secretary or Patwari or local Common Service Center.
How to register for PM Kisan?
- First you open the official website of PM Kisan ( https://pmkisan.gov.in/ ) and go to “Farmers Corner”.
- Here the option of “New Farmer Registration” will be found, click on it. Now a new page will open.
- On the new page, enter your Aadhaar number, after which the registration form will open.
- Full details have to be given in the registration form. For example, which state you are from, which district, block or village information has to be given. Apart from this, farmers will have to provide their name, gender, category, Aadhar card information, bank account number to which the money will be transferred, IFSC code, address, mobile number, date of birth etc.
- Apart from this, you have to give the information of your farm. In this, survey or account number, measles number, how much land is there, all this information will have to be given.
- After filling all this information, you have to save it. After giving all the details, the form has to be submitted for registration. You can also save all this information for future reference.
This paper is necessary for registration
- You must have papers of agricultural land.
- Apart from this, Aadhar card, updated bank account, address proof, farm related information and passport size photograph.
