After the 28 percent increase (7th Pay Commission) in DA (Dearness Allowance) of central employees by the Modi government of the Center, the process of getting gifts to the employees is going on in all the states. Dearness allowance of officers has been increased. Roadways management has issued orders to increase dearness allowance and dearness relief by 25 percent from July 01, 2021.





According to media reports, orders have been issued by the roadways management to increase dearness allowance and dearness relief by 25 percent from July 1, 2021. The Government of Rajasthan has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA/DR Hike) of employees and Dearness Relief (DA/DR Hike) of pensioners from 164 per cent to 189 per cent under the Sixth Central Pay Commission (6th Pay Commission).

According to media reports, the CMD of Rajasthan Roadways has ordered immediate implementation of 25 percent increase in dearness allowance and relief for roadways employees and pensioners. After this, the DA of roadways workers has increased from 164 to 189% now. Serving employees will get the benefit of increased DA from July 1 and pensioners from August 1. At present, there are 13 thousand serving and about 7 thousand retired employees of the roadways.





Significantly, the Central Government had recently announced to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for its central employees from 17 per cent to 28 per cent after a gap of one and a half years. After this, the Rajasthan government had increased the DA of the employees by about 11 percent in the past. After this increase, the dearness allowance of the state employees increased from 17 percent to 29 percent.
