Due to the guidelines related to Kovid-19, the company was serving only pre-prepared i.e. packaged food to domestic passengers since May last year. Vistara has announced a new facility of ‘In-flight Meals’ for all categories of its domestic flights – Economy, Premium and Business.


DGCA had issued a decree

Aviation regulator DGCA in August last year allowed airlines to serve or sell pre-packaged light meals, beverages and meals on all domestic flights.

After this, the regulator had allowed airlines to serve food only on domestic flights of more than two hours during the second wave of Kovid-19 in April this year.

Direct flight between Delhi-Paris starts from November 7

Vistara will start direct flights between Delhi and Paris from November 7. Let us tell you that due to the corona virus epidemic, regular international passenger airlines have been suspended since March 23 last year. However, under the Vande Bharat Abhiyan and the Air Bubble System, special international flights are allowed to operate from May to certain countries. The airline company, operated by Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, said in a statement that flights on the new route will be operated by Boeing 787-900 (Dreamliner) aircraft. Direct flights will run between the two cities twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.



Giving information, a senior official of the Ministry of Civil Aviation said, “The restrictions imposed by the government on international flights are not likely to be lifted immediately. The official said that the existing number of flights under the air bubble arrangement is sufficient to meet the demand. Scheduled international passenger flights have been suspended since March last year amid the Kovid-19 pandemic. India has entered into air bubble agreements with more than 25 countries for the operation of international flights.
