Hospitality firm OYO said on Tuesday that Corona was withdrawing its decision to cut salary of its employees and send them on unpaid leave (LWP) amid the crisis. The firm announced full pay to its regular employees in India and South Asia from August 1. The company had taken steps like reducing the salary of employees or sending them on leave without pay due to the Kovid-19 crisis.

The rest of the employees’ salary cuts will also be withdrawn in a phased manner from October 2020. At the same time, it was also asked for 25 percent reduction in the salary of all employees in April-July 2020.

Employees said that 12.5 percent of the 25 percent pay cut will start from October, while the remaining 12.5 percent will start from December 2020.
