The state government has given the gift of Diwali to the employees of the state by increasing the dearness allowance. The rate of Dearness Allowance (DA) has been increased by 17% from 01 October 2021.



Before Diwali, the state government has given a big relief to the employees of the state. The Madhya Pradesh government has increased the rate of Dearness Allowance (DA) payable to government servants receiving salary in the sixth pay scale from October 2021.

What was the rate of dearness allowance earlier?

The government employees of the state government are being given dearness allowance at the rate of 154% in the sixth pay scale from January 2019.

Now what will be the rate of dearness allowance?



Now the state government has issued an order and has increased the rate of dearness allowance in the sixth pay scale by 17% from 01 October 2021. In such a situation, the rate of dearness allowance has now become 171%. According to the order of the Finance Department, dearness allowance will be calculated on the basis of pay and grade pay in the pay band in the sixth pay scale.

Increased dearness allowance will be available in November’s salary

This dearness allowance will be given to all the employees by adding it to the salary of October to be paid in November next month. The decision of the state’s increment has also been postponed due to Kovid, but now 50 percent of the pending increment will be given along with the salary of November. The remaining 50 percent amount will be given along with the salary of March 2022.
