On Multi Commodity Exchange, gold futures to be delivered on February 5, 2024 have increased by 0.11 percent to Rs 62521 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver for delivery on March 5 was up 0.10 percent at Rs 75150 per kg. Know further what is the price in the global market.
On COMEX, gold was trading at $ 2,049.70 an ounce with a gain of 0.23 percent. Silver was trading at $ 24.425 an ounce with a gain of 0.16 percent.
Spot gold remained at $ 2,035.88 an ounce. So far this week it has increased by 1.6 percent. Silver fell 0.2 per cent to $24.08 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.1 per cent to $958.87. Palladium slipped 0.5 percent to $1,096.86. It has increased by 15.5 percent so far this week.
The Indian rupee was trading stable at 83.30 against the US dollar in early trade on Friday amid the rise in crude oil prices. In morning trade it remained in the limited range of 83.32 and 83.29. The US Dollar Index decreased by 0.02 percent to 101.94.
