Gold Price Today: Gold futures rise sharply, silver prices also rise drastically, know what has happened

New Delhi: On Thursday, the prices of gold and silver futures witnessed a sharp rise. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at 10:46 am in February 2021, delivery gold rose by Rs 218, or 0.44 per cent to Rs 49,815 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the value of gold in February contract was Rs 49,597 per 10 grams. Similarly, in April, 2021, the price of delivery gold rose by Rs 247 i.e. 0.50 per cent to Rs 49,850 per 10 grams. Earlier on Wednesday, the April contract gold price was Rs 49,603 per 10 grams.
