Gold prices continued to fall as the dollar strengthened against other major currencies of the world.
Gold Price Today 4 September 2020: Gold prices fell by Rs 774 to Rs 51,755 per 10 grams in Delhi Bullion Market on Thursday after global prices of precious metals fell. HDFC Securities gave its information.
In the previous session, gold had closed at Rs 52,529 per 10 grams. Silver also fell by Rs 1,908 to Rs 69,176 per kg, compared to Rs 71,084 per kg earlier
HDFC Securities senior analyst (commodity) Tapan Patel said, ” came 774 fell by Rs in the spot price of gold of 24 carat Delhi K ”
In the international market, gold was soft at $ 1,934 an ounce, while silver remained unchanged at $ 27.24 an ounce. Patel said, “Gold prices continued to fall due to the strengthening of the dollar against other major currencies of the world.”
He said that with the arrival of positive economic data of the US, investors’ ability to bear risk was increasing. Due to weak spot demand, traders cut their deals, due to which gold fell 0.08 per cent to Rs 50,781 per 10 grams in the futures market on Thursday.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the delivery gold contract price fell by Rs 40, or 0.08 per cent, to Rs 50,781 per 10 grams in October. It traded for 14,098 lots. In the international market, New York, gold lost 0.26 percent to $ 1,939.70 an ounce.
