While a decrease of Rs 400 was recorded in the price of gold on Thursday, there was a decrease in the prices of gold on Friday as well. On Friday, there was a decrease of Rs 350 per 10 grams in the price of 22 carat gold.

According to the Good Returns website, 

The price of 22 carat gold was recorded at Rs 45,150 per 10 grams on Friday, while on Thursday the price of gold was Rs 45,500 per 10 grams. Earlier on Wednesday, it was selling at Rs 45,900 per ten grams. That is, in two days there was a big drop of Rs 750.

Gold became cheaper by Rs 390,

while on Friday, the price of 24 carat gold was recorded at Rs 49,250 per ten grams. At the same time, its price on Thursday was Rs 49,640. That is, the price of gold decreased by Rs 390 in one day. Earlier on Wednesday, 10 grams of gold was sold for Rs 49,830. The price of gold decreased by Rs 580 in two days.

Gold is cheaper in Mumbai-Kolkata

Talking about metros, the price of 24 carat gold in Chennai was Rs 49,630, in Mumbai Rs 49,250, in the capital Delhi Rs 49,300 and in Kolkata Rs 49,250 per ten grams.

Silver became cheaper by Rs 1200,

along with gold, there was a big fall in the prices of silver. Silver became cheaper by Rs 1200 on Friday. While the price of 1 kg of silver was Rs 63,200 on Thursday, it fell to Rs 62,000 on Friday. Let us inform that the price of silver on Wednesday was Rs 64,200. In two days, there was a decrease in the price of silver by Rs 2200.

Let us inform that in August 2020, the price of 10 grams of gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) had reached the highest level of Rs 56,191. Comparing it with the current price of 24 carat gold, there has been a big fall in the price of gold by Rs 6,941.
