Gold Price News: There has been a sharp decline in gold prices in recent days. In the last two weeks, the price of gold has fallen by about Rs 6,000.

Gold Price Today: Gold prices have once again seen a rise. On Friday, when the market closed, it was recorded below Rs 94,000 per 10 grams. However, earlier the price of 24 carat 10 grams of gold was at Rs 93,393. According to the latest update of the India Bullion and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 carat gold remains at Rs 93,954 per 10 grams.

That is, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs 561 from the previous price. At the same time, the price of one kilogram of silver has been updated to Rs 94,125. Earlier the price of silver was Rs 94,200 per kg. That is, the price of silver has fallen by Rs 75 per kg. According to the rates updated on May 2, the price of 22 carat gold remains at Rs 86,062 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 18 carat gold was Rs 70,466 per 10 grams.

Earlier, on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on the last trading day of April last month, the price of 24 carat gold was Rs 94,361 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 22 carat gold was Rs 86,435 per 10 grams.

Decline of Rs 6000 in two weeks

In recent times, there has been a sharp decline in the prices of the yellow metal. In the last two weeks, the price of gold has fallen by about Rs 6,000. On April 22, the price of 24 carat gold touched its highest level ever at Rs 1,00,000 per 10 grams. Despite a steep rise in prices, gold and silver sales saw a surge due to the wedding season and the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.

According to a report by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAT), gold jewellery and related items worth about Rs 12,000 crore were sold in the country on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya last Wednesday. Apart from this, according to the leading trade body, silver trade worth about Rs 4,000 crore is estimated on this auspicious day.
