The charging stations will operate on a ‘charging-on-demand’ system and will be administered as an Internet of Things (IoT) device for remote condition monitoring and operations management.

New Delhi. Battery storage and charger development company Ez4EV has announced that it will launch an on-demand mobile electric vehicle charging station ‘EzUrja’ in the next three months. These will be made available by the company to the customers at their chosen locations. Customers will also be able to locate these mobile stations as they locate mobile ATMs. In order to create better EV connectivity, especially in small towns, ‘EzUrja’ mobile charging stations will be set up on various cities and highways.

How these charging stations will work – The charging stations will work on a ‘charging-on-demand’ system and will be administered as an Internet of Things (IoT) device for remote condition monitoring and operations management. The company’s CEO Satinder Singh told the media that, “Our service will reduce the range anxiety of EV users and fill the gap in the country’s EV charging infrastructure”.

Both slow and fast charging options – The charging stations will be available in different sizes and will include a separate power source with both slow and fast charging options. It will have a logistics management system to handle the recharging, which will be done completely from carbon emission-free energy. These charging systems will meet the continuous need for energy flow 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without any fluctuations or surges.

Ez4EV believes that by creating its own mobile charging ecosystem, it will be able to help address the issue of inadequate charging infrastructure in the country. A fully charged Ezurza charging station will be able to provide continuous energy flow for all types of slow and fast chargers from two-wheelers to commercial vehicles and premium electric vehicles. According to the company, lithium-ion manganese phosphate battery chemistry is essential to build a strong business, which could not be achieved with the older model battery chemistry.
