New Delhi MI squad as the strongest ever squad in the history of IPL Says Gautam Gambhir: The  success of Mumbai Indians under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy in IPL is phenomenal. The team, which won the IPL title for the first time in 2013, did not look back under Rohit’s captaincy again. Now this team has emerged as the most successful team of IPL and has won the trophy four times.

The Mumbai success story began when Ricky Ponting left the captaincy of the team and handed over the command to Rohit in 2013. Rohit took over the captaincy of the team and in the same year this team won the IPL title for the first time. Rohit earned his team the title for the first time by defeating MS Dhoni’s Chennai in 2013. Apart from this, many star players also came out of this team. Jaspreet Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya are the biggest examples of this.
