The problems of Antyodaya card holders who take free ration items from ration shops may increase. If they have not got golden cards made under Ayushman Bharat scheme then they will not get ration.
The government has issued guidelines to make 100% golden card of Antyodaya card holders. District Supply Office has also been directed in this regard. The DSO has engaged all the supply inspectors for this.
District Supply Officer Kyamuddin Ansari said that the department has 45894 Antyodaya card holders. One lakh 41 thousand units are connected in this. In comparison, only 17500 Antyodaya card holders have golden cards. About 28 thousand Antyodaya card holders have not got their golden cards made.
The supply department has received instructions from the government that cent percent cards of Antyodaya card holders are to be made. In this regard, the DSO has also taken a meeting of ration dealers with the departmental personnel on Thursday and instructed them that those who do not register for the golden card and get the card made will not get ration. Instructions have also been given to all dealers to make cards.
