What facilities are available to the passengers? The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued guidelines regarding compensation in case of flight ticket cancellation or flight cancellation.
You will get full refund
If the flight is canceled by the airlines, you will get a full refund of the ticket. Airlines will either have to provide an alternate flight to the customer or provide a full refund of the ticket. If you get a flight for the next day, the airline company will have to provide you hotel accommodation. If your flight is delayed then the airlines will have to make arrangements for food and drinks for you. If your connecting flight is cancelled, the airline will have to provide an alternative flight to the passenger or a full refund of the ticket.
If airlines companies cause trouble in giving refund of tickets, then you can complain by visiting DGCA site https://www.dgca.gov.in/digigov-portal/ . The Ministry of Civil Aviation has clarified that if your flight is delayed or canceled due to some unexpected reason, then the facilities available to you will be cancelled.
