FD Interest Rates Increased: Private sector Axis Bank has increased the interest rates on FD. From now onwards bank customers will get the benefit of higher interest. The new rates of Axis Bank FD have come into effect from 5 February 2024.


Axis Bank FD Interest Rates: Fixed deposit is always considered to be the best option for investment. If you are also going to get FD in the bank, then this is important news for you. Private sector Axis Bank has increased the interest rates on FD. From now onwards bank customers will get the benefit of higher interest. The new rates of Axis Bank FD have come into effect from 5 February 2024. The bank has revised the rates of FD worth less than Rs 2 crore.

Axis Bank has increased the interest rates on FDs of 17 months to less than 18 months by 10 basis points (bps) for general citizens. Earlier these customers were getting 7.10 percent interest and now they will get 7.20 percent interest. At the same time, the interest given to senior citizens has been increased from 7.75 percent to 7.85 percent.

How much interest are general customers getting?

Axis Bank is providing FD facility to common citizens for a period ranging from 7 days to 10 years. In this, general customers are getting interest ranging from 3 percent to 7.10 percent.

How much interest is being received on which period?

Axis Bank is offering 3% interest on FDs between 7 to 29 days. It is giving 3.5% interest on day FD in 30 to 45 days. FD maturing between 46 to 60 days will get 4.25% interest. Interest at the rate of 6.70 percent will be available on FDs maturing between one year and less than 15 months. The bank is offering 7.1 percent interest on FDs maturing between 15 months to less than five years.

7 percent interest for 5 to 10 years

The bank is giving interest at the rate of 7 percent to customers on FDs maturing between 5 years to 10 years.

How much interest are senior citizens getting?

Senior citizens are getting the benefit of higher interest from the bank compared to normal customers. These customers are getting 0.75 percent more interest. Axis Bank is offering interest ranging from 3.50 percent to 7.85 percent for senior citizens on FDs of 7 days to 10 years for amounts less than Rs 2 crore.
