A new method of fraud has emerged in Fastag KYC Update. To get the Fastag updated from the user, a fake app is installed and Aadhaar, PAN and bank details are asked from him. After the asked OTP, the money disappears from the user’s account.

A lot of news is coming out regarding Fastag KYC Update. Now people are also being cheated in the name of KYC update. In such a situation, you also need to be very cautious. Because one mistake can cause huge loss to you. Many such cases have come to light in which users have been cheated. Rs 10,000 have been withdrawn from the bank account of one user.

Such an incident has happened in Geeta Colony, Delhi. Actually, the user’s Fastag had been deactivated and he wanted to reactivate it. He had also contacted the company for this. But the customer care number from the user’s side was obtained from Google. Whereas this is where he made a mistake. Here the user was asked to install an app to update Fastag.

It was said on the phone by the scammer that it is not possible to activate Fastag on the phone. So he has to install an ace in the phone. With its help Fastag will be activated easily. After installing the app, the user was asked to enter some information. In this, Aadhar card, PAN card and bank details were asked. But this was an app being used by scammers.

Now scammers ask the user for OTP to update Fastag. If some OTP is given before this then suddenly pressure is created from the scammers. After asking for OTP the phone suddenly gets disconnected. After some time, a message comes on the user’s account that the money has disappeared from his account. Before he could understand anything, Rs 10,000 had gone missing from the user’s account. That means this was a completely new way of scamming.
