Farmers get big gift of government, now up to 1 lakh compensation without paying premium

new Delhi. Now farmers do not have to be afraid of natural disasters. Because of the damage done to crops due to drought, excessive rain or unseasonal rain, they are going to get rid of the difficulties in repaying the loan installment. Gujarat government (Gujrat Government) has announced ‘Mukhyamantri Kisan Sahay Yojana’ (Mukhymantri Kisan Sahay Yojana), giving them a big gift. In this, they will get compensation of up to 1 lakh rupees without paying any premium. This will improve the economic condition of the farmers.

The scheme will replace the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme (PMFBY) for Kharif crops. This will benefit 56 lakh farmers of the state. For Kharif crop, the state government will provide crop insurance at zero premium. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani himself gave this information in a press conference. The CM said that if the crop is damaged by more than 33 percent due to drought or excess rain or unseasonal rain, the government will pay compensation. At the same time, compensation of 20 thousand per hectare and more than Rs 25 thousand per hectare will be given for loss of 60 percent crop loss. The good thing is that there will be no need to register insurance or pay premium to avail this scheme.


56 lakh farmers of Gujarat will benefit from this scheme can apply on the portal . A portal will be launched soon for detailed information about the scheme. By clicking on it, farmers can apply online. Tribal farmers registered under the Forest Rights Act will also be able to take advantage of this scheme. The state government has passed a budget of Rs 1,800 crore to pay crop insurance premiums.
