Expectations for job offers increased, recruitments will pick up from January

The blockage in recruitment due to Kovid-19 infection can be over in six months. From January, almost every sector of the industry can start hiring at full speed. According to the Economic Times, Career Consulting firm CareerNet has said that some companies have started selective appointments but complete recruitment will start from January. Companies which have stopped their appointments are also slowly starting recruitment. 43 percent of these companies have said that they will be fully active in the matter of appointments in the next six months. The companies say that the complete appointments will start by April next year. Appointments have a cycle of 15–16 months. By April next year, the appointments will reach the level of pre covid level. However, their lower base will remain as companies have laid off large numbers.

According to CareerNet, campus recruitment can be affected. This year, at least 27 percent of the companies will not go to college campuses for placements. An additional 39 percent of the companies are not sure whether they will go to the college campus for the recruitment. According to CareerNet’s study, it is not even sure whether the number of employees will reach the pre-Kovid level or not.



It has also been said in this report that most of the companies are not making appointments openly. In this case, she is being cautious. This kind of slowdown is not new to many offshore companies but it is a new thing for start-up companies. IT companies are following the ‘wait and see’ policy, whereas start-up companies are getting more feedback about it. Some IT companies have said that they will adopt the policy of ‘slow down’ in the case of hiring. However, start-ups are not showing any enthusiasm at the moment.
