Meanwhile, Sony has announced that it sold over 4.5 million units of PS5 in the launch quarter and also highlighted that the reason for poor PS5 production was due to lack of semiconductor availability. As per speculations, PS5s and GPUs were being sold at a high premium over MRP due to extreme stock shortage, and it seems that this could have happened due to large-scale distribution by the corporate company.

The PlayStation 5 costs Rs 49,990 for the normal edition while the digital edition will come for Rs 39,990. The DualSense Wireless Controller will cost you Rs 5,990, the HD camera comes for Rs 5,190, the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is for Rs 8,590, the media remote is for Rs 2,590 and the DualSense Charging Station is for Rs 2,590. The next-generation gaming console competes against the new Microsoft’s Xbox line up.

Sony has said that it has not been able to fully meet the demand for the gaming console from customers, adding that it will continue to do everything to ship as many units as possible to customers.
