New Delhi: EPFO: Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has changed a rule, providing great relief to the subscribers. Now the pension money of pensioners will not get stuck. The reason for this is that EPFO ​​has given the freedom to the pensioners to submit the life certificate at any time. That is, now there will be no deadline for this.

Life certificate valid for 1 year,

however, it has been told by EPFO ​​that life certificate will be valid only for one year from the date of submission. After this, the pensioners will have to submit the second life certificate.


PF money used to get stuck

Let us tell you that pensioners have to submit life certificate every year to take advantage of pension. According to media reports, if the pensioners were not able to deposit it under the old system, then their PF money would get stuck. But, now it has been changed.

Life certificate can be submitted anytime

EPFO said that EPS’95 pensioners can now submit life certificate at any time. It will be valid for 1 year from the date of submission. This decision has been taken under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence.

Can submit online or offline

Remember that pensioners can submit life certificate either online or offline. It can be deposited at the Pension Disbursement Centre, Public Service Centre, Indian Post Office, UMANG App or the nearest EPFO office.
