UPSC EPFO EO/AO Recruitment 2025: Who can apply?
For the posts of Enforcement Officer / Accounts Officer (EO/AO), the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university. Whether you have done BA, BCom, BSc or any other graduation course, you can apply for these posts.
UPSC EPFO Age limit: What should be the age?
The maximum age for EO/AO posts should be 30 years. SC/ST category candidates will get 5 years relaxation and OBC category candidates will get 3 years relaxation. For the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC), the maximum age of General/EWS category candidates should be 35 years and OBC 38 years, SC/ST 40 years, PwBD (Divyang) candidates should be 45 years.
UPSC EPFO Salary: How much salary will be given?
The pay scale for Enforcement Officer/Account Officer (EO/AO) is ₹9,300 to ₹34,800 (Level-8), with the initial salary being ₹47,600 and the total salary without allowances being ₹53,312. In addition, allowances include dearness allowance (DA) ₹18,088 (17% of basic pay), house rent allowance (HRA) 8%, 16%, or 24% depending on the city, transport allowance (TA) around ₹4,968, and fixed medical allowance (FMA) ₹2,000. The salary for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) is fixed under Level-10.
UPSC EPFO Jobs: How to get a job?
There are two stages for selection in UPSC EPFO recruitment-
1. Written exam: The first step will be the written exam conducted by UPSC. In this, your knowledge and ability will be tested.
2. Interview: Candidates who pass the written exam will be called for interview. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in both the stages and you will get the job accordingly.
