Delhi: Employees can also check their EPF balance and withdraw from PF account without UAN number. A Universal Account Number (UAN) is a 12-digit unique number. It is a permanent number and is valid for the lifetime of a member. Employer of the employee can generate UAN number. In case of change of job, the UAN allotted earlier can only be provided by the employer.





Through UAN, an employee can find out his PF balance and withdraw from the PF account at any time without the help of the employer. At the same time, even without UAN, an employee can check his PF balance and withdraw from the account. Let us know how it is possible.

Process to know EPF balance without UAN

step 1. First of all, you have to log in by visiting the EPFO ​​website epfindia.gov.in.

Step-2. Now, click on the link “Click Here to Know your EPF Balanc”.

Step-3. Now you will be redirected to epfoservices.in/epfo/. Now you have to click on the Member Balance Information tab.

Step 4. Now you have to choose your state and click on your EPFO ​​office link.

Step-5. Now you have to enter your PF account number, name and registered mobile number.

Step-6. Now you have to click submit. Now you will see your PF balance on the screen.

How to withdraw from your PF account without UAN

If you do not have a UAN number, you have to fill a PF withdrawal form for withdrawal from the PF account and submit it to the local PF office. The EPF member is required to download an Aadhaar-based Composite Claim Form or Non-Aadhaar Composite Claim Form through the Internet. Employees can make full withdrawal from an EPF account if they have retired or have been unemployed for more than two months. If an EPF member remains unemployed for a month, he can withdraw 75 percent of his total PF amount from the pension fund.
