New Delhi : For the financial year 2021-22, the Central Government has announced interest to PF employees long back. This time 8.1 percent interest has been announced, which is the lowest amount in the last 40 years. After the decision to get the first lowest interest, the employees were disappointed, but now a good news is going to be received.
It is being speculated that by June 30, interest money will be transferred to the account of PF employees. More than 6 crore people will benefit from this. EPFO, the government body that deducts PF, has not yet announced the date of transfer of interest money, but some media reports are making such a claim.
80 thousand rupees will come in the account
The Central Government has announced to give 8.1 percent interest in its order, for which you will need to know all the details. If you have 10 lakh rupees in your PF account, then according to this, you will easily get the interest of 80 thousand rupees. This will see a big increase in your amount.
Know how to check PF money
If you are a PF employee, then now do not make rounds of the offices to see the money in the account. You can easily check all your money sitting at home. Now you have to send EPFO UAN LAN to 7738299899 from registered mobile number with EPFO. LAN stands for your language.
If you want information in English, you will have to write ENG instead of LAN. In this way HIN is written for Hindi and TAM for Tamil. To get information in Hindi, message has to be written by writing EPFOHO UAN HIN.
Know your account amount from UMANG App
- Download Umang App on your smartphone through Play Store.
- Register your phone number and login to the app.
- Go to the menu given in the top left corner and go to ‘Service Directory’.
- Search and click on EPFO option here.
- After going to View Passbook here, check the balance through your UAN number and OTP.
