If you are a employed person and your PF is deducted then there is a big update for you. The Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has made major changes in the rules. If you do not link your Aadhaar with PF account by August 31, then you will have to suffer a lot.



According to the new rules of EPFO, it is necessary for every account holder to link PF account with Aadhar card . This rule will be applicable from September 1, 2021, let us tell you that EPFO ​​had decided to link Aadhaar under Social Security Code 2020. Earlier this deadline was 31 May i.e. the new rules were to come into force from June 1, but now its deadline has increased. Now you have to link your PF account with Aadhar card by 31st August. If your account is not linked with Aadhaar, then the employer contribution coming to the PF account can be stopped. In such a situation, Electronic Challan and Return (ECR) will not be filled.

How to link pf account with aadhaar

  1. First of all visit the official website of EPFO ​​or click on the link given below.
  2. https://unifiedportalmem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface /Now here you log-in with your UAN and password.
  3. Now a page will open in front of you. Here you will see several documents to link with your EPF account.
  4. Here select the Aadhar option and click on the service by typing your Aadhar number and your name on the Aadhar card.
  5. After this the information given by you will be secure, your Aadhaar will be verified with the data of UIDAI.
  6. Your Aadhaar will be linked with your PF account if the KYC documents are correct. You will get Verify written in front of your Aadhaar information.
