Recently, an account holder on Twitter tagged the EPFO and asked the question that when will the interest money transfer on behalf of EPFO. On this, the EPFO has replied on the official Twitter handle that whenever interest is credited to the account, it will be credited together and the full amount will be given. No one will be harmed on account of interest. However, the EPFO did not specify when the interest money would be transferred to the PF account.

Actually, the Modi government has approved 8.5 percent interest for the fiscal year 2020-21. If media reports are to be believed, then today, 8.5 percent interest can be transferred to the account of 6 crore PF account holders on July 31. By July 31, PF account holders are expecting that money will come in their PF account.
Know your PF balance like this
Through SMS: To send EPFO UAN LAN (Language) to 7738299899 from the mobile number registered with EPFO. LAN stands for your language. If you want information in English, you have to write ENG instead of LAN. Similarly HIN for Hindi and TAM for Tamil. To get information in Hindi, you have to message by writing EPFOHO UAN HIN.
Through missed call : If you want, you can also know your EPF balance through a missed call. For this, you have to make a missed call on 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number.
Through Website : Visit the EPF passbook portal to check your balance online. Log in to this portal using your UAN and password. In this, click on Download / View Passbook and then the passbook will open in front of you in which you can see the balance.
Through UMANG App: If you have a smartphone, you can check your EPF balance whenever you want through the app. For this, open UMANG AF and click on EPFO. In this, click on Employee Centric Services and after that click on View Passbook and enter UAN and Password. OTP will come on the registered mobile number. After entering it, you can see the EPF balance.
