Now the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has issued an alert to more than 6 crore account holders, which has blown people’s senses.

Cyber ​​thugs seeking information from people

EPFO has said that these days cyber thugs are trying to cheat people in new ways. Posing as PF employees, they are demanding personal information from account holders like their bank details, PAN number, Aadhaar number. In such a situation, a small mistake of the account holders can become a cause of huge financial loss for them. So people should be alert and do not share your personal information with anyone.

Organization released Twitter message

The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization has also issued a message on Twitter warning people. EPFO has written that cyber thugs can make you their victim through bonus, cash back, gift or any other greed to withdraw money from your account (EPFO Account). Once you fall in their trap then no one can save your account from getting completely empty. The organization clarified that it does not call or message any account holder asking them to give information about their PAN card, UAN, bank details, password and OTP.

EPFO never does this work

The organization said that if a thug calls himself as an officer or employee of EPFO, then understand that he is a fraud. The organization never calls account holders in this way, nor does it ask people to share their personal information through social media. According to EPFO, avoid opening any unknown link and do not share your OTP with others under any circumstances.
