The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has allowed its members to withdraw advance from the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) account for the second time.

Now PF account holders can withdraw 3 months basic salary (Basic Salary + Dearness Allowance ie DA) or up to 75% of the amount deposited in their PF account (whichever is less). How to withdraw advance from PF account?

KYC required

You must have an active Universal Account Number (UAN) to withdraw money from EPF account online. Apart from this, the mobile number linked with Aadhaar should be active. Aadhaar, PAN and other bank details must be verified.

Follow this process

  • Login to the member interface of EPFO’s unified website https://unifiedportalmem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface .
  • After this, going to the Online Services option, click on Claim (Form-31,19,10C, 10D).
  • Enter the last 4 digits of your bank account and verify it.
  • After this click on Proceed for Online Claim.
  • Now select Outbreak of Pandemic (Kovid-19) and enter the required amount.
  • Upload the scanned copy of the bank account check.
  • Click on Get Aadhaar OTP and enter the OTP.
  • After this your claim will be submitted and money will be credited in your bank account within 3 days.
