EPF ALERT: Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) members who had selected nomination in their PF or Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) can change it very easily. Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has also asked its members to file online e-nomination through UAN to set up Public Social Security for the family or nominee.
EPFO tweeted, ‘If an EPF member wants to change the existing EPF or EPS nomination, then he can file a new nomination. The new EPF or EPS enrollment will supersede the previous enrollment.
How to Change PF Enrollment
- To file e-nomination for PF account, EPF members need to visit www.epfindia.gov.in.
- There visit the ‘Services’ section and the ‘Employees’ category.
- Benefits of EPF e-nomination
- EPF e-nomination helps eligible family members to make online payment of PF, Pension,
- Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI) up to Rs 7 lakh.
- Anyone can update the nomination at any time. A mandatory update is needed after marriage.
- For this you can file documents yourself. No documents or approvals are required from the employers.
- Lastly, you have to go to – Member UAN/Online Service.
