EPF ALERT: Now EPS, nomination done in PF account can be changed, know- what is the easy way to change?

EPF ALERT: Nomination made in EPS, PF account can be changed. For this, documents can be filed by going manually. EPFO tweeted, “If an EPF member wishes to change the existing EPF or EPS nomination, he can file a fresh nomination. The new EPF or EPS nomination will supersede the previous nomination.”


EPF ALERT: Members of Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) can change the nomination made under the existing PF or Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) . The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has also asked its members to file online e-nomination through UAN to ensure social security for the family or the nominee.

EPFO tweeted, “If an EPF member wishes to change the existing EPF or EPS nomination, he can file a fresh nomination. The new EPF or EPS enrollment will supersede the previous enrollment.”


PF enrollment process

  • To file e-nomination for PF accounts, EPF members need to visit www.epfindia.gov.in.
  • You have to go to the ‘Services’ section and the ‘Employees’ category.

  • Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI) up to Rs 7 lakh .
  • Anyone can update the enrollment at any time. After marriage a mandatory update is required.
  • For this you can file documents yourself. No documents or approvals from employers are required.
  • Finally, you have to go to – Member UAN/Online Service.
