In fact, after the announcement of the increase in dearness allowance by the Central Government, the Railway Ministry has instructed its employees in all the zones to pay it . Orders have been given to release these payments by the end of this month.

14 lakh employees and pensioners will be benefited

According to the order issued by the Ministry of Railways, Dearness Allowance will be given with effective revised rates. This decision of the Railways will directly benefit about 14 lakh employees and pensioners. This payment will be done by the end of this month in any case.

Dearness allowance will be available at the rate of 34 percent

According to media reports, Railway Board Deputy Director Jai Kumar wrote a letter in this regard to all zones and projection units on Tuesday. He said in his letter that dearness allowance should be paid to all railway employees at the rate of 34 per cent instead of 31 per cent. Along with this, the arrears from January to March will also be paid to the employees.

Let us tell you that in January 2022, the central government had decided to increase the dearness allowance of the employees. Dearness allowance of central employees was increased from 31 per cent to 34 per cent.
