Salary increase announced

India’s largest domestic airline IndiGo has announced a salary increase for its cabin crew and pilots. According to the report, this increase will be effective from October 1. The airline said it is continuing to increase crew wages by 10% while pilots will be provided with a minimum of 70 hours of pay per month.

Earlier last year also, Indigo had increased the salary by 10%. This was paid to the employees in two installments. Now a fixed pay range for 70 hours has been prepared by Indigo. Which means that pilots will be paid a minimum salary of 70 hours. In addition to the 13 hours, pilots are also paid for overtime. In such a situation, a big increase in the salary of employees can be recorded. With this, their salary can increase up to Rs 80 thousand.

Let us tell you that Indigo’s computers, Air India and Akasa provide a minimum salary of 40 hours to their pilots. In this matter, Senior Vice President of Indigo Mitra says that after the profitable performance in the last three quarters, the losses incurred during Corona have been compensated. The average increase in salary is above 10% while the company is also working on high salary revision.
