Under this, now the minimum pension and family pension in Himachal Pradesh has been increased to Rs 9000 per month from January 1, 2016. Apart from this, it has been decided to provide 31 percent Dearness Allowance (DA) to pensioners from July 1, 2021.
Under this, the minimum pension and family pension has been increased from Rs 3,500 to Rs 9,000 per month with effect from January 1, 2016. From February 1, 2022, the increased pension will come in their accounts. Pensioners will get monthly benefits ranging from Rs 1,500 to Rs 25,000. In the state, pensioners above 80 years of age and family pensioners will also be given revised pension and additional benefits payable on family pension. It has also been decided to give 31 per cent Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners from July 1, 2021. That is, it will be equal to the Dearness Allowance (DA / DR HIKE) being given to the employees.
Apart from this, it has also approved to increase the limit of gratuity from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh with effect from January 1, 2016, which will also be applicable for NPS employees. Under this, the employees who have retired after January 1, 2016 and whose gratuity is made more, will be given its arrears. Which will benefit about 43,000 pensioners. According to the notification, financial benefits of 5-10-15 percent will continue to be available on the pre-revised pension before January 1, 2016, on the age of 65-70-75. This will give revised pension and family pension to 1.73 lakh pensioners from February 1, 2022. The same 1.30 lakh pensioners and family pensioners will get revised pension and family pension from January 1, 2016.
In fact, a major decision regarding pension and gratuity was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on February 14, 2022. In this, the minimum pension amount was increased, under which pensioners and family pensioners would be given benefits from January 1, 2016. It will benefit.
