There is a proposal to increase Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4%. After this increase, DA will increase from 46% to 50%. Existing 50 lakh central government employees and 62 lakh pensioners will get benefits. It is proposed to implement DA from January 1, 2024.

This money is given to government employees, public sector employees and pensioners. Its calculation is done every 6 months according to the current inflation of the country.
