There is news that before Holi, an announcement can be made regarding increasing DA by 4% in both the states. The government has started preparations in this regard.
Rajasthan UP Employees DA Hike 2024: After the Central Government has increased the dearness allowance of central employees and pensioners by 4%, now there is a preparation to revise the DA rates in Rajasthan and UP as well. It is reported that before the Lok Sabha elections, Rajasthan and Employees and pensioners of Rajasthan can get a big gift. Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan and Yogi Adityanath government of UP can increase DA of employees and pensioners by 4%, after which DA will increase from 46% to 50%.
You can get a gift before Holi
In fact, every year after increasing the DA by the Central Government, new rates are announced in Rajasthan UP also. In the same sequence, now before the Lok Sabha elections and Holi, the Rajasthan government is also preparing to increase the DA of employees and pensioners by 4%. For this, the Finance Department has started preparing a proposal, which can soon be brought to the Cabinet and approved. This will put a burden of about Rs 1650 crore on the government.
After this increase, DA will increase from 46% to 50%. Since DA will be applicable from January, arrears of 2 months will also be available. There is a possibility that the increased DA will be added to the salary received in April, while the increased amount since January will be deposited in GPF.
Its benefit will be available to 8 lakh personnel and 4.40 lakh pensioners receiving salary on the basis of Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules-2017. Apart from the state employees, this benefit will also be payable to the work in-charge, Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad employees.
Dearness allowance of Uttar Pradesh employees will also increase
There will be a 4 percent increase in DA of lakhs of employee pensioners of Uttar Pradesh along with Rajasthan, after which DA will increase from 46 percent to 50 percent. There is a possibility that after approving this proposal in the cabinet before Holi, orders can be issued by the Personnel Department. The increased DA from the month of April and arrears for the month of January and February can be given along with the salary of March. More than 19 lakh employees, pensioners along with teachers and non-gazetted employees will benefit from this. If DA is 50 percent, the salary of the employees will increase by Rs 15950 – 14674 = Rs 1276 per month.
