Last week, in the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Nitish Kumar, the proposal to increase 4 percent DA and DR of employees and pensioners has been approved, after which the DA of state employees has increased from 42 percent to 46 percent at the same level as the Centre. The new rates will be effective from July 1, 2023, so arrears of 4 months from July to October will also be available. The benefit of increased DA and arrears will be given along with the salary of November which will be received in December. This will benefit 11 lakh employee pensioners of the state. This includes more than four lakh government employee officers and six lakh pension workers.

 

Under the decision of the Cabinet, 46% dearness allowance/relief has been approved in place of 42% with effect from 01.07.2023 to the state government servants/pensioners/family pensioners receiving salary/pension in the Seventh Centrally Revised Pay Structure. Now the government servants/pensioners/family pensioners of the state government receiving salary/pension of Bihar will get 46% dearness allowance instead of 42% from July 1, 2023.

Chhattisgarh: 4 percent increase in DA before the results, Election Commission approved

Since this will be applicable from July 2023, arrears of 4 months will also be available. The salary of the same officers and employees will increase from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000. As soon as the Finance Department orders are issued, you can get the benefit of increased DA and arrears along with the November salary, which will be available in December. This will benefit 4 lakh employees and about 1.5 pensioners of Chhattisgarh.

DA increased by 4 percent in Rajasthan also

Before the results of Rajasthan Assembly elections, dearness allowance of government employees has been increased by four percent. According to the information available on the website of the Finance Department, dearness allowance of state employees has now increased by four percent to 46 percent. This increase will be applicable from July 1, 2023, in such a situation the employees will also get arrears of 4 months. It is believed that the benefit of increased DA and arrears can be given in the December salary. This move will benefit more than 8 lakh employees and more than 4 lakh pensioners. Let us tell you that due to the elections, the code of conduct is in force in Rajasthan, hence recently the state government had sent a proposal for DA increase to the Election Commission, which was approved, after which the Finance Department gave the information through the website.

DA increased for 6th-5th Pay Commission employees of Central CPSEs

The Central Government has increased the Dearness Allowance of employees working in Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSE) from 9 to 15 percent as per the 6th and 5th Pay Commission, which will be considered applicable from July 1, 2023. Department of the Finance Ministry According to the order of the Office of Public Enterprises, the DA of employees getting salary as per the grade pay of the 6th Pay Commission has been increased by 9 percent, after which the total DA has increased from 221 percent to 230 percent. This decision will be applicable to those employees whose salaries were revised with effect from January 1, 2006 under an order issued on October 14, 2008.

Along with this, the DA of 2 categories of employees of the Fifth Pay Commission has been increased, the DA of those employees for whom the benefit of merger of 50% of DA with the basic pay has not been allowed, has been increased from 462% to 477%. % and for the employees who have been given the benefit of merger of 50% of DA with the basic pay, their DA has been increased from 412% to 427% DA. In this way, a total increase of 15 percent DA has been made. These new rates will be applicable from July 2023, in which case arrears will also be available. DA benefit can be given in December along with the salary of November.
