The employee can know the balance of his PF account by just one message, but for this you must be registered with the UAN EPFO. Employee will have to send ‘EPFOHO UAN ENG’ SMS to number 7738299899. Here ENG is the first three letters of your favorite language. This facility is available in ten languages. Employee will have to do this SMS from registered mobile. With this, employees can get information about their PF account balance and fresh contributions.

With just one miss call

Employees can get their PF account information just by making a missed call, but for that also the employee should be registered on the UAN portal. Employees can know the balance of their PF account by giving a miss-call to number 011-22901406. The employee must give this missed call from his registered mobile number.

Via EPF portal

Balance of your PF account can also be known through EPF portal. For this, the employee has to go to www.epfindia.gov.in. Now going to the ‘Our Services’ tab and clicking on ‘For Employees’. After this, you have to click on ‘Member Passbook’. Now a new page will open on the screen. Now the employee has to login by entering the UAN and password. After this you will be able to see your EPF passbook. For this, your UAN must be active. 



Via the Umang app

Employees can also know the balance of their PF account through the Umang app. Umang is a government app, it provides facilities related to various government schemes. On this app, the employee will first have to register through his phone number. They can then check their EPF passbook through this app. Also, a claim can be applied here and your claim can also be tracked.
