After the swearing-in ceremony of CM, now the cabinet will be expanded and ministers of Shiv Sena and BJP will also take oath.

After this, today BJP leaders Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde went to the Raj Bhavan and presented their claim to form the government in front of the Governor. After meeting the Governor, Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde held a joint press conference at the Raj Bhavan.

During the PC, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, who was expected to be the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra, made a big announcement and announced the name of Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde as the new Chief Minister. Devendra Fadnavis also said during this that he will remain out of the government, and will not be included in the cabinet. However, later on the request of top BJP leaders, Devendra Fadnavis agreed to become the Deputy Chief Minister.

Eknath Shinde praises Fadnavis

After the announcement of the name of CM, Eknath Shinde said that former CM Fadnavis has shown a big heart. He said, “It is difficult to find a person like Devendra Fadnavis, who has 120 MLAs, no one does this. No one lets go of the post of panchayat or municipal body head, this is the chief minister’s post.”
