National Payments Corporation of India has entered into agreements with 11 banks for e-RUPI. These include Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, HDFC, Canara Bank, ICICI Bank.

Apart from this, banks like Indian Bank, IndusInd Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India and Union Bank of India have also been included.

Apps that accept this include Bharat Pay, Bhim Baroda Merchant Pay, Pine Labs, PNB Merchant Pay and Yoni SBI Merchant Pay. This will include apps from e-RUPI adopters and more banks.

Beneficiaries do not need to have a bank account for e RUPI, a number of security measures have been taken. There is no need to provide personal information.
