HOW TO DOWNLOAD?
1. To download e-PAN, first login to the Income Tax Department website https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/requestAndDownloadEPAN.html .
2. Now click on Download e-PAN Card option here.
3. Here you have to enter Acknowledgment Number or PAN Number.
4. Now enter your PAN number.





5. Apart from the PAN number, you will also have to enter your Aadhaar number.
6. Now you have to enter your month and year of birth.
7. Many terms and conditions will be given here, read them carefully and click on ‘Accept’.
8. After this an OTP will come on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP.
9. Now click on ‘Confirm’.
10. As soon as you confirm, the option to make payment will come in front of you.
11. Here you have to pay 8.26 rupees.
12. From here you can make payment through any medium (paytm, UPI, credit card or debit card).
13. After this you will be able to download your e-PAN in PDF.

How to open e-PAN?
You will be able to download your e-PAN in PDF but a password will be required to open it. This password is your date of birth. Enter your full date of birth in the password. For example, if someone’s date of birth is 12 September 1980, then he has to enter 12091980 in the password.




Do this even if you lose your PAN
If your PAN card is lost, first of all file an FIR. If your PAN card goes into the wrong hands then it can be a mistake. So get the FIR done. Apart from this, you can find out from Form 26AS whether there has been any benami transaction with your PAN. However, it is checked only by those who pay tax.
