The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a notification, according to which the time limit of Light Motor Vehicle Driving Course will be 29 hours in 4 weeks and the time limit of Medium and Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Course will be 38 hours in 6 weeks.

In order to provide new driving licenses, the Indian Road Transport and Highways Ministry has issued some rules for Driving Training Center.

Candidates can avail high-quality driving courses from these recognized driving training centers. After successful completion of this training course, the candidate will not be required to take the driving test to get a new driving license.

Testing tracks – The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said that these training centers will have simulators and dedicated driving test tracks from where candidates can avail the facility of high quality training. These training centers can also provide facilities for industry-specific specialized training. These new rules issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will be applicable from July 1. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said that there is a shortage of skilled drivers in the roadways sector of India, due to which more accidents are seen every day.



Training Center Recognition For 5 Years – The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said that the Registered Driving Training Center will be given recognition for 5 years, after which they can renew it. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a notification, according to which the time limit of Light Motor Vehicle Driving Course will be 29 hours in 4 weeks and the time limit of Medium and Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Course will be 38 hours in 6 weeks. In both these training courses, both theory and practical will be done to the candidate.
