new Delhi. Your challan will be deducted for not keeping your driving license or RC (Registration Card) while driving. Because it is very important to have these documents with a driver. But now you do not need to carry all these documents with you.

According to the notification issued by the Central Government based on the amendment in the Motor Vehicles Act-1989, it is no longer necessary to carry a book of driving license or RC (Registration Card) in hand. Instead, you can store these documents in the mParivahan mobile app. If needed, they can be presented before the authorities. It’s acceptable, certified, and convenient for 100% of users.

Here we are going to tell you the simple step by step process to add your driving license in mParivahan mobile app .

Step 1: First of all, download the mParivahan app from Google Play Store.

Step 2: Sign up using your mobile number. You will get an OTP. Enter and register on the app.

Step 3: Now, you have two options – DL (Driving License) and RC (Registration Certificate).

Step 4: Enter your DL number.

Step 5: To generate the virtual dll, click on “Add to My Dashboard”.

Step 6: Enter the date of birth and your DL will be added to your ‘Dashboard’.

How to use it

Click on the Dashboard button to view your Virtual Driving License at the top of the screen, once you click on it, your DL details and a QR code will appear. This code is used by the authorities to scan and retrieve all the required information of the documents. You can also add RC Book details of your vehicles in the app.

Can Add Multiple Vehicles On mParivahan app, you can add multiple vehicles
used by individual or individual. For example, a husband driving a vehicle registered by his wife can also add vehicle details on his app. Similarly, driving license details can be added in multiple mobile devices.
