DRDO Recruitment 2025: If you are looking for a government job and dream of doing something big in the defense sector, then a great opportunity has come for you. Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of Scientist ‘B’ and Engineer. The application process for this recruitment has started and now its last date is also near. Applications for this recruitment have been sought through Recruitment and Assessment Center (RAC). If you have not applied yet, then do it soon, because the last date for application has been fixed as 13 June 2025.

- DRDO Scientist ‘B’ – 127 posts
- ADA Scientist / Engineer ‘B’ – 09 posts
- Encadred Post Scientist ‘B’ – 12 posts
- Total posts – 148
What should be the qualification?
To apply for these posts, the candidate must have a B.E/B.Tech, M.Sc, M.A or Post Graduate Science degree from a recognized institute. Along with this, it is also mandatory for the candidate to have a GATE score card. The special thing is that students who are giving the final semester examination can also apply. Age limit
- Maximum age of General / EWS category candidates – 35 years
- OBC (NCL) – 38 years
- SC / ST – 40 years
How much salary?
If we talk about salary, then the selected candidates will get a basic pay of 56,100 / – per month under Level-10. If we add the rest of the HRA and other allowances, then this amount can reach up to about 1 lakh rupees per month.
How will the selection be done?
- Shortlisting based on GATE score
- Personal interview
- The final selection will be based on 80% weightage GATE score and 20% interview.
- Candidates will get information about the interview later from the RAC/DRDO website.

SC/ST/Divyang/Female candidates – No fee
