Indigo to launch 100 flights from today: The country’s largest airline IndiGo is starting 100 flights connecting major domestic metro cities and regional centers from today i.e. March 27. IndiGo said it will start 20 new flights from March 27 as part of its summer vacations.


Sanjay Kumar, Chief Strategy and Revenue Officer, IndiGo said, “We are delighted to announce these 100 flights to strengthen our domestic network… will continue.”

Flights will be available for these routes

IndiGo is starting the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) service between Prayagraj and Lucknow from today. Apart from this, the company is planning to resume 16 special flights. The company said it will start special flights on various routes including Pune-Mangaluru, Pune-Visakhapatnam, Hubli-Hyderabad, Jammu-Varanasi and Tirupati-Tiruchirappalli.

International flights will also start from today,

According to the DGCA, a summer program from March 27 to October 29,

60 airlines from 40 countries have been permitted to operate 1,783 frequencies to/from India during the summer. The summer program will be effective from March 27 to October 29.

A total of 1,466 international departures per week have been approved for the six Indian carriers for the summer programme. According to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), they will operate to 43 destinations in 27 countries.
