Delhi Traffic Police and Delhi State Legal Services Authority are going to give a special opportunity, where you can easily settle your old challans and notices. This opportunity is going to come on 13 September 2025, when the National Lok Adalat will be organized in the capital. On this day, a large number of vehicle owners will be able to reach and clear their challans.
The process of settling challans in Lok Adalat will be easy and in many cases, exemption can also be obtained. This is the reason why it is being considered a golden opportunity for vehicle owners. If you also have a pending challan, then on 13 December you can settle it without any hassle.
Hearing will be held in seven court complexes
Lok Adalat will be organized from 10 am to 4 pm. Seven big court complexes of Delhi have been selected for this

You can also prepare online
People can download their challans and notices by visiting the official website of Delhi Traffic Police (traffic.delhipolice.gov.in). This facility has been activated from Monday morning. However, a limit of downloading challans has been set to only 60,000 per day and a total of 1.80 lakh challans can be downloaded till September 13.
Which documents will have to be carried ?
To settle the challan in Lok Adalat, you will have to keep these three important documents with you
- Copy of challan or notice
- RC of the vehicle (Registration Certificate)
- Valid ID proof of vehicle owner
Lakhs of challans have already been settled
Lok Adalats have been organised in Delhi before also and the results have been surprising.
- In the Lok Adalat of March 8, 1,53,437 challans were settled, worth about Rs 405 crore.
- At the same time, about Rs 1.7 crore was recovered from traffic challans in the Lok Adalat held on May 10.
