If you travel daily by Delhi Metro, then know this news before leaving home today. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) informed that due to maintenance work on Thursday, service between Green Park and Qutub Minar on Yellow Line will be affected for some time. During this, Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar and Saket stations remained closed. The work went on from the start of the service till 6.30 am.

It has been informed by DMRC that now 15 flying squads will be deployed inside the metro and at the station to ensure that social distancing is followed. Through these, all the passengers will also be closely monitored and strictness will be taken regarding the corona protocol. It has also been informed that now continuous announcements will be made while traveling in the metro. Passengers will be warned on the spot, will be reminded of the Kovid protocol. Every effort will be made to continue with the appropriate behavior of Covid during the journey.

Apart from all this, DMRC has also emphasized that now passengers should be ready to stay at the station for a long time. If they believe, now the journey may be longer than necessary to ensure that social distancing is followed. In such a situation, whoever wants to travel by metro, he should take more time. DMRC has also made it clear that due to the danger of corona, now traveling in the metro has to be done only when it is very important. If there is no urgent work, then at this time you have to avoid using metro in Delhi.

Now these restrictions are also being imposed because Yellow Alert is going on in Delhi, due to which the metro is currently running with 50 percent capacity. In such a situation, the first priority is not to gather the crowd.
