Big news is coming from the people of Ghaziabad and Noida, adjacent to the country’s capital Delhi. If everything goes well, people will be able to come to East Delhi or Noida via metro from Ghaziabad railway station in the coming time. The latest progress in this plan is that Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will soon prepare a detailed project report to connect Delhi Metro with Ghaziabad railway station.

It is being told that about 20 people traveling daily from Ghaziabad bus stand, 000 passengers will be able to go directly to Ghaziabad railway station by metro. Apart from this, train passengers living in Noida and East Delhi will also not get down at New Delhi railway station or Purali Delhi railway station and get down at Ghaziabad station and reach their destination via metro.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has accepted the proposal to prepare the DPR sent by the Ghaziabad Development Authority for the metro project from New Bus Stand to Old Ghaziabad Railway Station.

Let us inform that in the last month itself, a request was made to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to prepare the DPR on behalf of the Ghaziabad Development Authority. In lieu of preparation of DPR, Rs 32 lakh will be given to DMRC. In this regard, GDA officials say that soon the amount of DPR will be given to DMRC.

Ropeway project cleared from Vaishali to Mohan Nagar

GDA has approved the plan to build a ropeway from Vaishali to Mohnagar. The project is planned to be completed on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. Under the PPP mode, 60 percent of the expenses will have to be borne by the manufacturing company and 20 percent by the central government and 20 percent by the GDA. If the company building the ropeway project incurs more cost, then the contribution of GDA’s share will be reduced. At present, GDA is also going through a phase of financial crisis, in such a situation, GDA officials also want the company to build the project to invest more and more money. The proposal for the funding pattern of the ropeway project will be placed in the board meeting of GDA to be held on December 16.

  • Vasundhara
  • Sahibabad
  • Mohannagar

Journey from Vaishali to Mohan Nagar will be in 15 minutes

The DPR of the ropeway project has been prepared. Under this, the journey from Vaishali to Mohannagar can be done in 15 minutes by ropeway trolley. Two tracks will be built for commuting from Vaishali to Mohannagar. 10 people can sit in a trolley. Officials said the project would be completed within two years from the start. The company making the project will be able to charge the fare only at the rate of the metro, for how long the company will charge the fare. Its term will be clearly spelled out in the MoU.
