At the same time, 50 percent of the passengers will be able to travel standing in the DTC bus from the seat capacity. This decision has been taken because, because more and more people should leave private vehicles and use public transport.

This reason has also been mentioned in detail in the note issued by DDMA. It is being told that due to the increasing pollution in Delhi, the situation remains worrying. In such a situation, driving more vehicles on the roads can worsen the situation. For this reason, DDMA has given permission to travel in metro and bus by standing.



DDMA has told that, in addition to 100% seating capacity in Delhi Metro, 30 passengers will be able to travel standing in each coach. Till now only passengers were allowed to travel according to 100% seating capacity. Apart from this, people who have to travel by bus have also been given great relief.

For buses, it has been told that in addition to 100% seating capacity in DTC and cluster buses, 50% of the passengers of the seating capacity will be able to travel standing. For information, let us tell you that earlier due to Corona guidelines, standing and traveling in the metro was banned. Then this decision was taken to take care of social distancing. But now the situation is different, corona is under control and pollution is increasing the concern.
