Delhi Metro Services Metroride company said that it will provide electric vehicles at affordable prices to commuters covering over 60 stops on three routes from Dwarka Sector 11 Metro Station. Electric vehicles will run from the metro station to Apoorva Chowk, Rajapuri and Dwarka Sector 11 Bazar.



Delhi Metro has given another facility, giving relief to its passengers. Electric vehicle service was launched at Dwarka Sector-11 metro station on Tuesday to take passengers to their destination. With the introduction of this service, passengers will get a lot of convenience in commuting at the metro station. Speaking on the occasion, an official of Metroride company said that it will provide electric vehicles at affordable prices to commuters covering over 60 stops on three routes from Dwarka Sector 11 Metro Station.

Electric vehicles will run from the metro station to Apoorva Chowk, Rajapuri and Dwarka Sector 11 market. Passengers can rent an electric vehicle through Metroride’s mobile application. On this occasion, MLA Gulab Singh said, “We are happy that Metroride has started operation of electric vehicle at Dwarka station. This will also reduce pollution and provide relief to the commuters.


Service will be available every two minutes

Girish Nagpal, CEO, Metroride Company said that commuters can rent electric vehicles through Metroride’s mobile application. He said that the service of electric vehicle will be available every two minutes. Our promise to our customers is to provide this service at an affordable price, the highest level of security, and the shortest amount of time. The company aims to make the journey easier for those metro commuters who face difficulty in reaching their destination after getting off the metro.

Earlier, recently, Delhi Metro had opened additional gates at metro stations, giving relief to the passengers, so that there would be no long queues of passengers outside the stations. At present, 61.69 percent of the gates at metro stations have been opened. According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), now 414 gates have been opened at the stations.
