New Delhi. There is good news for lakhs of passengers traveling in Delhi Metro. A decision of DMRC will bring great relief to lakhs of passengers. Due to technical fault in the metro, there are reports of inconvenience to the passengers every day. But, now DMRC has decided to operate the train with new technology to save the passengers from this trouble. DMRC will now start a new initiative. Now new switching posts are being built at 26 places to save passengers from hassle and operate trains in a better way in short loop. The new switching posts and switching stations will now go a long way in the operation of trains.

This initiative of DMRC to save passengers from trouble during technical fault in Delhi Metro and to operate trains in a better way in short loop will have many benefits. Under this, new switching posts/switching stations are now being set up on metro lines. With the help of this, it will help in continuing the operation of the metro in a better way in short loops even after the failure of the overhead electrification system (OHE) in case of technical problems on the metro line.

There will be no technical fault in Delhi Metro now!

According to the DMRC, it has come out in the internal survey of the metro that when the OHE fails, the passenger service gets disrupted in a large part of the metro line. This causes a lot of inconvenience to the passengers. At least 10 stations get affected by this. Passengers keep waiting for hours at these stations.

Keeping this inconvenience in mind, now new switching stations are to be installed at many stations of Red Line, Yellow Line and Blue Line. Work has started at stations like Rithala, Indralok, Jahangirpuri, Civil Lines, Janakpuri West, Tilak Nagar and Barakhamba Road. DMRC has identified 26 stations for this.
