Delhi Metro News According to DMRC, Delhi Metro will now go up to Central Vista. There will be a loop line from the Central Secretariat Metro Station of the Yellow Line to the Central Vista. DMRC will prepare DPR for this. Traveling of people will become easier by going to the Metro of Central Vista.

Delhi Metro will go up to Central Vista. For this a loop line will be constructed from the Central Secretariat of Yellow Line. In view of this, an agreement was signed between the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) on Monday. DMRC Director (Business Development) Pramit Kumar Garg and CPWD Additional Director K PS Chauhan signed the agreement.

DMRC Managing Director Mangu Singh was also present during this. DMRC will soon prepare the DPR for the construction of the loop line. After the complete design of this loop line is ready, both the departments will build it together. DMRC says that this loop line of the metro will be built under the Central Vista redevelopment project.

With the help of this, the buildings of the new Central Secretariat will be connected to the Metro network of the Yellow Line. Hence this loop line will connect with the Central Secretariat station of the existing Yellow Line. It will have a length of three kilometers, with four stations, which will connect the buildings of the Central Secretariat to the metro network.

This will be the first loop line of the metro which will be built to connect government buildings with the metro network. This will facilitate the movement of employees of the Central Secretariat going to the office through Metro.

In busy times, 20 thousand passengers per hour will be able to travel in the loop line metro

DMRC says that it will also appoint a consultant to prepare the design of this loop line. This loop line of Metro will be underground. Therefore all the four stations will also be made underground. CPWD will construct the infrastructure like tunnels, stations etc. of this loop line. At the same time, DMRC will get the work related to finishing of metro track, train control, signal system, OSE (over head equipment) etc.

DMRC will handle the work related to the arrangement, maintenance and operation of metro trains. After the completion of the construction of this loop line, 20 thousand passengers can travel per hour in the morning and evening when the metro operation starts.

At present, DMRC operates the Metro on the 391 km network of Delhi NCR. There are total 286 metro stations in Delhi NCR. In which Noida Metro and Gurugram’s Rapid Metro are also included. At present, DMRC is constructing three new corridors in Delhi in the fourth phase. Whose total length will be about 65 kilometers. Apart from this, three other corridors are also proposed in the fourth phase.

Therefore, some six metro corridors are to be constructed in the fourth phase, which will have a total length of about 104 km. Therefore, after the completion of the construction of all the corridors and loop lines of the fourth phase, the metro network will increase to 498 km.
